A BRIEF MESSAGE ON OUR PICTURE
POSTING POLICIES:
We all know Colin guards his own and his family's privacy dearly,
so we ask our Firth Sisters to respect this by not posting any
personal photos that infringe on their privacy. We ask that
no pictures of Colin's boys*, other than those
already released for the general public be posted.
As many of us are parents or have nieces and nephews,
we can appreciate and respect Colin's need to protect his own children.
*Colin recently stated at TIFF that he did not want his oldest son's photo taken. We are honoring Colin's wishes by not posting any pictures here that are not released for the public. While this is a bummer for his fans, our wish is to honor and respect Colin's decisions regarding his family.

Do not upload any artwork to post on another site without giving credit to the creator.
Do not deconstruct, add text or images to any artwork that is not your own
without permission to do so.
For those who wish to do so, please sign all of your artwork to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
Whenever possible, please remember to give credit for any images/artwork
you post on Firth Sisters from another site.
It's a matter of respect girls. We are all sisters and friends here.
Let's keep it that way by being respectful of other each other.
If you choose to disregard these requests, your membership here at Firth Sisters will be in peril.
Absolutely NO photos with the firth.com logo in the corner may be posted at any time. This is at the request of the webmaster who maintains that website, and we respect her wishes in this,
so we do not post them on our board.
No full frontal nudity pictures are allowed on the Firth Sisters boards.

We do require that you post at least once every 3 months.
We love active members, so please don't be shy, we were all newcomers once.
That's how we get to know one another, and it makes our community all the more interesting and fun!
Firth Sisters does not now, nor has it ever, tolerated any type of stalking of Colin Firth or his family by any member.
Members choosing to engage in this type of behavior will be banned immediately.
We wish FS to be a light and fun place to talk about Colin Firth, so let's keep our sister's feelings in mind when we disagree so that no hard feelings develop. Should a genuine concern arise please contact that member privately, or feel free to write to any of the managers. Let's keep trouble off the boards.

We value all of you ladies, and know that your contributions are an integral part of what makes Firth Sisters fun and interesting! So send us your ideas and suggestions, and keep the photos, videos, and news items coming; we especially need them to keep our spirits up and our obsession fed when Colin is in between movies!

Firth Sisters Policy

Due to recent circumstances, it has become necessary for Firth Sisters Managers to revise and update the policies. While many of you enjoy posting your generated text signatures, quotes and signatures/images at the end of each post, it has also become a problem and/or inconvenience for many of our other members. Some of our members are using Dial-up.
The use of Blingees, oversized generated text signatures, the signatures/images at the end of each post and the repeated quotes with pictures creates a distraction and in some cases images (especially large ones) can slow the boards down for some users and adds unnecessary pages to a topic. This space is dedicated for the intended purpose to sustain the topic or theme of the thread.
Your name/screen name along with the avatar of your choice, is already displayed in your message. The generated text signatures and the quotes, with pictures, have gotten way out of hand. A simple copy and paste of the quote or reference to the message # by name of member will suffice.
This policy change is effective immediately. This policy applies to all boards and threads. We, as managers, trust that you will all adhere to these changes.
Just a reminder, this is a Colin Firth Fan Site and is open to the public! What we say and do is a reflection of our admiration for a wonderful actor/humanitarian and will leave a lasting impression on the many nonmembers who view our incredible, creative and imaginative postings.
