This is a very sad day, Annie2shoes was a very special lady with a heart of gold, very kind, very generous and always willing to help and to bring a smile... How many times she made the day brighter and made us happy while watching her marvellous videos and the rare films that she uploaded especially for us to enjoy...              Am so grateful for all she did and for being my friend - she told me about Firth Sisters and encouraged me to join this beautiful forum and she also was my first FB friend... She had many health problems, but found a way to post on her page, when she was able to, memories from Cape Town that she loved so much, last year she wanted to visit the city again but unfortunately she was not able to, because of her heath...                          She will be greatly missed and always remembered with love by all!

How sad !!! Rest in peace, dear Annie ! This is the end of your suffering. Even if we knew that you were very sick, how could we imagine that you would leave us so soon. You enjoyed life and spoiled us so much with the incredible videos you produced. Each of them was a true enjoyment. We owe you so much.

I shall never forget our meeting in London and how kind Annie has been exchanging about Colin and taking me around the National Gallery. My dream was to meet her again two years ago but our hope to be together by a red carpet for Magic in the Moonlight dropped. Annie used to tell me "Join us on Facebook !", well so I did ... only a few days ago and my greatest regret will now be not to have asked her to be my friend there.

I am so very sorry to hear of Annie's passing. Although I never met Annie, I felt she was a friend. She sent me brochures from Colin's UK events and I sent her US magazines. I loved how she would regale us with detailed descriptions of her "meetings" with Colin and Livia and attendance at previews, etc. And her videos are a lasting tribute to one of the best fans Colin has ever had.

I was thinking about Annie on Saturday evening as I was at the Garrick theatre. The last time I was there was with Annie. I was so sad to hear the news yesterday. We shared many events and she had a great gift for bringing people together. R.I.P. Annie.

I am very sad to read this news. I knew she was ill but didn't expect this outcome. May she rest in peace. Annie encouraged me to join Firthsisters and my first interaction with her was on youtube, where she left me a sweet, positive message after some disturbing attacks from a racist troll.

Goodbye, Annie2shoes. You will be sadly missed.

Only just heard the very sad news of Annie's death. So many happy memories of meeting up with her in London which I will always treasure. She was so kind to everyone, she will be sorely missed. At least she is now at peace and free of pain.
