Thank you for the notification of this very sad news. Even though I've never met Anne, she has touched my life through these many years as you all have through our mutual Colin connection. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

This is such sad news and so shocking. Like so many others, I felt I knew her and will miss her posts and lovely presence, here. Farewell sister.

I am so sad about it. We were friends on Facebook,and I used to see everything she posted,and I was amazed. Her death comes unexpected,as I've read all over her page. I am so sad  |

I am totally chocked. I cannot write much as I am far from home ... We exchanged a lot recently and I even have a mail ready to be sent in my box. What a loss. She once said that she wondered she would be able to see all of Colin's recent films. So so sad. My deepest sympathy to all the ones who loved her. May she rest in peace.

I can't seem to do anything. I cannot believe it. So I thought I would post some pictures from our Bath visit, and here is a picture of Anne with Colin - I think, at the GWAPE premiere (but perhaps aureliabennet can specify?)  Anne ooooohing at the scones before her!   Anne is enamoured of our lovely waiter! Very sad news to this community... I have seen tiggyl's comments and posts here and they were tremendously interesting (Her last thread was "Tom Ford Working on New Film".) I would have liked to thank her for everything she ever wrote and shared with us and for being a source of perpetual inspiration to all her friends. She was indeed a generous and wonderful person. Too late now to thank her but she will be remembered by everyone, every time we read what she wrote...

I know what you mean annie2shoes. Anne has left a huge gap in our Colin Firth sphere. The picture with Colin seems to be from when some of us met up at the showing of Trauma at the BFI Southbank back in 2004/5(??) Cherished memories indeed. |

Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures with us, dear Annie - I never met her in person and appreciate them very much!! This still feels so unreal, her family must be devastated - as are we!! Dear Anne, you were such a kind-hearted soul, always caring about others and being a source of delight and inspiration for them. This is such a complete shock and so incredibly sad. I send my thoughts and prayers to Anne's family and friends, including all of her friends here at FS.
