I have seen the videos, she would have loved the choice - P&P, Our Last Summer from Mamma Mia!, Lady Come Down from TIOBE, the BAFTA Award for ASM funniest speech (when he thanked the fridge guy  ) and CF Lover Man - beautiful choice, I think you know what she liked most...

Just a small reminder that tomorrow is Anne's funeral service... still can't believe she is gone..

The funeral was incredibly moving. Anne's granddaugher wrote a poem which had me crying out loud, and Lesley wrote a very moving tribute to Anne, which included 'the new man in her life - Colin Firth'! And in a quiet part of the service, the organ played music from P&P - I think it was 'Elizabeth Observed' - Anne's other name was Elizabeth

P&P was Anne's favourite, and her friend, Daphne, told me she always looked out for the first daffodils, which filled her with delight:

Just to remind you, we are collecting for the Epilepsy Society - Anne sadly died of an epileptic attack.

These days, I don't remember things too well but in case I haven't said this before, I will say it again. I will never measure up to you, Anne but I will try, particularly when it comes to the puzzles. R I P

Dear Annie, thank you so much for sharing your impressions from the funeral, your wonderful daffodil poster, the beautiful pictures of Anne and, most importantly, those very touching words by Anne's daughter and grand-daughter with us!

This is very moving, thank you for posting these thoughts and lines - it must have been very painful to part with a very dear friend, but she will be remembered lovingly by all those who have known her and admired her lovely personality and by all those who visit the site you have dedicated to her memory.
