A beautiful, sweet soul, always so kind and upbeat, despite her many medical challenges. While I haven't posted here in a long time, I always followed Lisa's posts on Facebook. She will be sorely missed.

I really do not know what to say, I always hoped to meet Lisa one day and now that day will never come. I have "known" her for over 10 years and will miss her lovely, inspirational posts. Vale Lisa  |

I am thinking of opening a Memorial Page on Oxfam America's site. Lisa did so much, especially for our Colin Firth Tributes, it seems appropriate. What do you think? I made a lovely one for Anne Govier, tiggyl on FS.

Thankyou for all the happiness and joy and encouragement you've given especially here and on Facebook.
You will be remembered with much love and greatly missed by so many...

Although I haven't been active on FS in ages due to a great deal of personal issues, when I heard of Lisa leaving us, I had to return to the place where she first blessed my life. Lisa was one of the sweetest, kindest, positive and simply beautiful souls I've ever met in my life....and I loved her dearly. Although we hadnt been as close in the last few months, I regard her as family and a beloved sister. I was given 5 years of friendship with her, but I was incredibly lucky to have those 5 years of friendship, laughter and tears. She was ALWAYS there for me. I could never give back to her all that she had given me even if I had another 500 years. Even though I know she hears me, I will miss the ability we had to pick up the phone and just let it all out, to be ourselves, to be honest, and to be free. That is the hallmark of a special friendship....and one I was so privileged to share with her. The last time we spoke a few weeks ago, our exchange went as it often did 'I love you, talk to you soon!' Somehow, I know I'll see her again, but until then, I will keep her in my heart and mind and think of her with love always.
