My dear and sweet Lisa,
you've gone away quietly and I'm writing these few lines with tears in my eyes because I loved you, rather, I love you very much. I knew you only virtually, but you have been to me, from the beginning, likeable. Then, one day on FB, you contacted me, because you wished a banner for FS made by me and that day we became friends and I realized, during these years, what a nice person you were: kind, caring, available to all, generous, never expected, ironic with your disease; in short, the friend that we all want. I heard you the last time, through the chat of FB, regarding the spring banner for FS . You wanted it had your favorite colors, lilac and purple, and when you saw it for the first time, you were so happy. Well, my sweet Lisa, this is my last thought for you, my last gift done with a lot of love. I'm not a religious person, but I hope there is a beautiful place, beyond the earthly life, because only in a beautiful place, a beautiful person like you, can live.
Ciao Lisa...I'll miss you a lot.

Heavens, that is awful, how could this happen!?! I still cannot believe it, last time we had news from her she seemed to feel much better and hoping for recovery - now i realize she must have been very ill and not wishing to tell us everything about her real state, knowing we would have been very worried... This is terribly sad, after Mrs. Govier passed away... We will feel lonely here without her! Our prayers and thoughts are with her and her family, may she rest in peace, she will never be forgotten and always be remembered lovingly by all those who have known her...

For Lisa! Finding the right words is difficult. I am always still shocked and very sad, have tears in my eyes. We have lost such a nice, friendly and helpful lady who was our admin and friend for so many years. She was so busy. Posting pictures, videos, links and many other things about Colin Firth was her great passion. A few times we both have written personal messages and she always had an advice and answers to my questions, that was so nice! And now, all of a sudden, she passed away. I can't believe it. Dear Lisa! I want to thank you once again for all your hard work in this wonderful forum. It's a pleasure to be here. Many thanks for your help, kindness and especially for your very nice personal words to me. My thoughts are with you and your family. I will miss you, forever. R. I. P. My deepest condolence to her family in this hard and sad time. |

This is overwnelmingly sad news. I wish I could eloquently describe what a loss this is, as many of you have done. Merirouge, I think Lisa would love your lavender tribute. It looks like a place she'd enjoy seeing. It's times like this I hope for heaven or reincarnation.

I'm still in tears while writing this. Still shocked and stunned about this loss of such a beautiful soul.
When I joined Firth Sisters back then, I didn't knew what would expect me. But then I got those warm welcome greetings and I felt at home immediately. I had mail contact here on the Board with our sweet Lisa at times, though not that much in the past unfortunately, because of her health issues. And I remember all the funny and lovely chats we had in the past. Gosh, I will miss her soooo soo badly.  She was such a wonderful and sweet person, she always had an ear for our problems here on the board. Well, I only knew her via internet and unfortunately not in person, but I liked her very very very much! 
She was so lovely and warm-hearted and we shared the same sense of humour! (Colin Captions)
She also was the one who gave me (with a wink) my nickname (MissG) here, because she found my membername is far to long. I wrote back to her, well, I feel flattered...but have a look at my age. 
O gosh, we had a lot of fun here and I'm so grateful to have met such a sweet person.
What can I say? ~ Thanks for all what you've done for us.
I'm soooo soo sad, but I hope you're feeling better now, sweetie ~ weightless, free and without pain.
All those health issues you've suffered all those years, must have been far too much for one body alone.
RIP and sweet dreams, dearest Lisa! ~ I will always remember you...
