I too am in shock.  I knew she was ill but she always pulled through. She has been a good virtual friend to me too. She was such a rock for all of us despite being more ill than we knew. I'm glad that we, the community she left, can mourn her. Such a terrible loss. Annie, whatever you want to do to honor her sounds good. Farewell, dearest, loveliest Lisa!  AmyP |

I have just returned from a trip without internet access and am shocked and saddened to learn of Lisa's passing. Added to the loss of Tiggyl, this loss will. I fear, be very hard for us to bounce back from. Their contributions to the success of this site were enormous.
It will be different here.
Rest in peace Lisa.

I've been away for several days and am just reading the terribly sad news about Lisa now. This is indeed such a shock -- what a kind person she was. I remember how warmly she greeted me when I first joined here. It helps a lot to read everyone's lovely thoughts on this thread. My deepest condolences to all of her friends and family.

I wasn´t here for a long time, but I was still friends with her on facebook. When I heard of Lisa´s passing, I was in shock. I still can´t believe it. I will miss her, she was always so positive and took her life with so much patient and gratitude. R.I.P. dearest Lisa. |

I think some of you were puzzled that you had to log in - please do log in and have a look at the page?
It would be so nice is we could collect a lot of money for Oxfam, in recognition of Lisa's dedication and empathy to the poorer people of the world.
You can always log out again. It would be great if you could write something of what Lisa meant to you - perhaps copying and pasting your comments from here? Thank you!
Needing to log in will keep trolls out - and we know who they may be!
